The constitution of a church is an important document that outlines who we are, what we believe, and how we will operate and make decisions as a corporate body. The following is a brief history of our church constitution:

January 1, 2008 - the charter members of NewBranch Community Church adopted original constitution

October 4, 2020 - major revisions adopted (added supplemental affirmations, moved to more robust congregationalism, clarified elder governance issues, etc.)

February 25, 2024 - minor revision adopted (to remove requirement that a majority of elders must be nonstaff)
